As per the instructions from DTE and GTU, the Gymkhana Cell organized a Thalassemia Test on 02/12/2025 in the Seminar Hall of the Computer Building at K. D. Polytechnic, Patan.

The Gymkhana Cell contacted the Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad for conducting the test and circulated a notice instructing all first-year students to participate. The faculty members and students of the institute followed the instructions accordingly.

The team from the Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad arrived at the institute, created awareness about the importance of the test, and collected blood samples from 361 students. They will provide the test reports within a week.
