    • K.D. Polytechnic, Patan
      The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of K.D. Polytechnic, Patan actively works towards developing the personality of students through community service and social responsibility. The NSS unit functions under the guidance of the Program Officer and organizes various social, environmental, and awareness activities throughout the academic year.
      The main objective of NSS is to instill the spirit of service, leadership, teamwork, and national integration among students while contributing positively to society.

      Key Activities Organized
      • The NSS unit regularly conducts a wide range of activities such as:
      • Fit India Freedom Run
      • Tribute programs on Shaheed Bhagat Singh Jayanti
      • Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations
      • Community Outreach Programs
      • Plogging Run – “Say No to Single-Use Plastic”
      • Awareness programs on:
      • Nashabandhi (De-addiction)
      • Dahej Pratha Nivaran (Dowry Eradication)
      • Bhrun Hatya Nivaran (Female Foeticide Prevention)
      • Drawing Competitions and Seminars on social issues
      • Janjagruti (Awareness) Rallies
      • World Sparrow Day celebration
      • Tree Plantation Programme
      • International Yoga Day celebration
      • Through these initiatives, NSS volunteers actively participate in nation-building activities and social reform movements.
