ISTE Student Chapter The ISTE Student Chapter is the student wing of the Indian Society for Technical Education, established in many AICTE-approved Technical institutions to encourage students to participate in ISTE activities and benefit from the society’s mission. Purpose The core goal of the Student Chapter is to: Disseminate knowledge related to theory and practice in engineering and technology. Further the professional development of students through active engagement in ISTE-related events and opportunities. Eligibility for Membership A student can become a member of the ISTE Student Chapter if they: Are enrolled in a full-time or part-time programme in an AICTE-approved technical institution. Establishing a Student Chapter To set up an ISTE Student Chapter: The Institute must be an ISTE institutional member. There must be a minimum number of student members (specific criteria as per ISTE norms). ISTE at K. D. Polytechnic, Patan Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Student Chapter has been successfully established at K. D. Polytechnic, Patan. The institute became an Institutional Member of ISTE in 2023, and the official ISTE Student Chapter Code is GJ-088.
